I rest my head upon your heart
And there I can hear its life,
So I can sense the ebb and flow
Of our love as it steadily grows.
I place my lips upon your throat
Just where the pulse springs life
I gaze into your half closed eyes;
And marvel at the why
That when I get so close to you
I find my heart does its thing
Much the same as your heart does
From within its well, love springs
I place my arms around your neck
And pull your head to mine
And offer all the love I have
Our kiss is so sublime.
