It's wondrous what your hugs can do;
They cheer me when I'm feeling blue.
Your hugs can say, "I love you so"
or "I just hate to see you go."
Your hug says, "Welcome back again,"
And, "Great to see you! Where've you been?"
Your hug can sooth my every pain,
And bring me rainbows after rain.
Your hug, there's just no doubt about it--
I scarcely could survive without it.
Your hug delights and warms and charms;
It must be why God gave you arms.
You may hug your children and your mother.
And it's always right to hug your brother.
If your kittens like them, you may hug them.
Even puppies, if you love them.
Our hugs can break the language barrier,
Make conversation so much merrier..
Even one hug from you each day,
And I'm sure I'll never go astray.
No need to fret about our store of 'em;
The more we give the more there's more of 'em.
So, stretch your arms without delay,
And give me my big hug today!
